VW Passat Gets Wolfsburg Edition

A special edition of Volkswagen’s Passat revives the brand’s Wolfsburg Edition label.

The Wolfsburg Edition Passat is available at dealers now. VW says it will build about 6000 copies of the new model, which sports a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo four with 200 horsepower and a six-speed Tiptronic transmission.

For the base price of $26,990, the Wolfsburg Edition also adds on 17-inch wheels, leather interior trim, a power driver seat, a six-disc CD changer and MP3 capability, Sirius satellite radio, and a power sunroof. Six airbags are standard, while rear-seat airbags are an option.
