LX470
The full-size LX470 is a more luxuriously equipped version of the Toyota Land Cruiser sport-utility vehicle, and comes powered by a 235-horsepower 4.7-liter V-8 engine that's mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and a rugged full-time four-wheel-drive system. Four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes, Vehicle Skid Control, a limited-slip rear differential and an adjustable-height adaptive suspension are standard for maximum performance on or off the road. A long list of standard amenities includes a rear backup video camera, a navigation system with a wireless telephone interface, heated automatic-dimming side mirrors, heated leather seats, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Only a handful of items are optional, but these include a back seat DVD player, a rear spoiler, and a Night View system that helps drivers to see the road ahead beyond the range of the car's low-beam headlamps.
