As part of its parent company's push into hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery-electric vehicles, Kia will introduce what it calls a 'hybrid utility vehicle' at next month's Chicago Auto Show. Today, at the more influential Detroit Auto Show, the Korean company released the images of that vehicle, to be known as two Kia Niro.
It seems owners of Volkswagen diesel cars equipped with illegal "defeat device" software will have to wait longer for a recall to update their cars. The plan submitted by VW in November to modify its 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI diesel models has been rejected by the regulatory agencies that must approve those fixes.
