Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced a recall of more than 93,000 Jeep Compass and Patriot SUVs from the 2015 model year. According to the automaker, some of those vehicles may suffer from a manufacturing flaw that could make them harder to steer and create a fire risk.

Volkswagen is set to reveal a new concept car at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, and today we got a second look at the vehicle by way of a teaser video. The concept is thought to preview a new generation of VW’s Microbus, which is reported to be entering production sometime later this decade.
There was a time when customers had to wait for the complete redesign of a vehicle to gain the latest tech features. However, with the ever-increasing convergence of the tech and automotive industries we’ve seen the rate of change accelerate at a rapid pace, meaning the features offered in one year can sometimes be outdated by the next.
With the 2016 Volvo XC90, the first model based on Volvo's modular SPA platform, now in showrooms all across the country, attention turns to the next SPA-based model in the works, a new flagship sedan reviving the S90 nameplate.

Electric-car buyers have eagerly waited for the 2016 Nissan Leaf, whose SV and SL models now offer a higher range, rated by the EPA at 107 miles. That's up from the 84 miles of last year's Leaf, and so we eagerly accepted a short-term loan of a new 2016 Leaf SL to test the car ourselves.
The Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-In Hybrid crossover has been on sale in Europe and Japan for some time now, but its U.S. launch has been repeatedly delayed. In fact, it's been pushed back so far that the Outlander underwent a fairly extensive mid-cycle refresh in the meantime.
When it announced a range increase for its 2017 Focus Electric earlier this month, Ford executives also revealed an intriguing snippet about the company's battery plans. The company is conducting its own research into fundamental battery chemistries, and could develop its own cells for use in future electrified vehicles.
