From The Car Connection: 2015 Lexus IS Review The 2015 Lexus IS was fully redesigned just last year, but for 2015 gains a handful of updates. LED fog lamps sharpen the look; Siri Eyes Free from Apple adds to the interface; and there are more choices inside with newly available piano black trim.
This doesn't bode well: Honda has added several million more vehicles to its already-massive Takata airbag recall. Prior to the announcement, Takata's biggest client had recalled about 20 million vehicles worldwide. The expansion brings that total to 24.5 million.
General Motors has announced a recall of select 2011-2013 Chevrolet Caprice and 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 vehicles. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, some of those cars may suffer from a problem with their front seat belts that could prevent the devices from working properly during a collision.
2016 Mercedes-AMG CLA45 (European spec)
When Mercedes-Benz unveiled its updated A-Class range last month, we learned that the high-performance A45 variant from Mercedes-AMG would be coming with an uprated engine spitting out a crazy 375 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. We also said that the extra spicy 2.0-liter turbo four would eventually make its way into Mercedes-AMG’s other compacts like the CLA45 and GLA45 sold on these shores.
Despite Ferrari’s vetting of LaFerrari buyers, a number of the hybrid supercars have showed up on the used car lot, typically with price tags well in excess of the estimated $1.3 million factory price. While previous examples for sale were found in Europe or the Middle East, this sexy black example is sitting at a dealership in Florida.
Toyota is set to introduce its fourth-generation Prius in about six months and soon after its arrival the car will face some competition from Hyundai. The Korean automaker is working on a dedicated hybrid of its own, and from these latest spy shots it looks like the car will fit in the same mold as its Toyota rival.

It always seemed unlikely, but the BlueIndy electric-car sharing program is getting closer to its rollout in the Midwestern city of Indianapolis, Indiana. The French-made Bollore BlueCar electric two-seaters are closer to arriving, and groups of Level 2 charging stations are popping up at curbsides all over the central city.
