From The Car Connection:
Here in America, we’re hitting peak crossover. It’s not enough to have one or two family-friendly SUVs—better to have three or four, and one of them better be small. That’s been the job of the Hyundai Tucson since it was new in 2010. It’s the entry into Hyundai’s family of crossover SUVs—and it’s all new this year, with more efficient power and with a new look that fits perfectly alongside the bigger Santa Fe.
The 2016 Toyota RAV4 is the latest update to the smallest utility vehicle in the company's lineup. This year, there's a very mild refresh of a handful of interior and styling features, but the big news is the addition of a RAV4 Hybrid model. That gives the RAV4 not only a version with better fuel economy, but the only hybrid in the smaller SUV segment, offering a possible replacement for the much-loved Ford Escape Hybrid sold from 2004 through 2012.

Ford Taurus badge
Ford will pull the covers off an all-new Taurus at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, which gets underway in just a few weeks. This will be the classic nameplate’s first appearance in China, a market where comfy, large sedans like the Taurus are still popular.
We were expecting a price tag below $200k for the new 570S Coupe and McLaren has pulled through with an impressive $184,900 sticker. That’s a substantial $80k less than McLaren’s next car up the ladder, the 650S, despite the new 570S sharing much in common with its big brother including its supercar good looks, potent powerplant and mid-engine, carbon fiber monocoque chassis.
BMW’s current 5-Series has been around since the 2011 model year and was given a mid-cycle update for 2014. Now we have a new set of spy shots of a prototype for the next-generation 5-Series testing alongside the current model. At present, we're expecting the new car on the market sometime in 2016, as a 2017 model.
2015 Toyota Prius C
California car buyers love the Toyota Prius hybrid, and that emotion may grow slightly stronger this month. That's because Toyota is offering deep discounts on the entire Prius "family" of models, which includes the original Prius Liftback, the Prius C subcompact, Prius V tall wagon, and the Prius Plug-In Hybrid.
The direct online sales model used by Tesla Motors has ignited a vigorous discussion--to say the least--over the state laws that protect franchised dealers in the U.S. Now the participants in that conversation have a new data point to consider in their debates a piece of electric-car news from Japan.
Major auto shows are where carmakers traditionally unveil new models, but these days, they're rarely a surprise. Thanks to the Internet, both leaks and car companies' desire for extra publicity from early teaser photos tend to spoil the surprise.
