Until this year, the mid-size pickup market was almost completely stagnant for the better part of a decade. The Ford Ranger died, and the Nissan Frontier and the Toyota Tacoma were hardly updated. Now, GM is shaking things up with a pair of new mid-size trucks--the GMC Canyon and this, the new 2015 Colorado.

Next Volkswagen Tiguan To Arrive In 2017, With Third-Row Seating

Volkswagen has announced that in about two years it will launch a three-row version of its Tiguan compact crossover, for sale in the U.S. market and built in Mexico. To achieve that, the company is investing another one billion dollars into its Puebla plant, and for tooling that will be used by the plant. It’s anticipated to employ 2,000 additional people in Mexico due to the move.

Oregon's OReGO Program Gives Drivers An Option: Pay Gas Tax Or Pay By The Mile

Our roads are in terrible shape, and we are largely to blame. All that could soon change -- not at the federal level, where partisan politics are perhaps at their worst, but at the state level. As Auto News reports, this summer, Oregon will launch a program called OReGO that allows residents to choose between paying a state gas tax or paying a fee based on the number of miles they drive.
