Get ready for a pint-sized invasion. Next year is shaping up to be the Year of the Subcompact Crossover, with new entries from Mazda, Fiat, Chevy, Jeep--and Honda, in the form of the 2016 HR-V.
The Cadenza was Kia's first foray above the $40,000 base-price level, and just in the year since it's been introduced, it's already been joined by a larger luxury-minded sedan, the rear-drive K900. Other models, like the Kia Sorento SUV, can be optioned past that $40k mark, but the Cadenza represents Kia's desire to be taken seriously as a luxury brand.

Henrik Fisker is probably best known for his attempt at starting an automaker, but before the days of Fisker Automotive the Danish businessman was working as a car designer and running coachbuilder Fisker Coachbuild. Well, it appears Fisker isn’t finished with the auto world just yet as he’s teamed up with famous Ford tuner Galpin Auto Sports to develop a carbon fiber-bodied car based on the 2015 Ford Mustang and called the Rocket.
Land Rover used this week’s 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show to announce its 2015 model year updates. The big news is the introduction of the all-new Discovery Sport, which goes on sale early next year priced from $38,920 with a $925 shipping charge.
Acura had high hopes for its newest gateway vehicle, the ILX compact sedan, which was originally introduced at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. A bit more of the styling of the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Volt has been revealed, in photos that Chevy released from a sneak preview of the car last night for current Volt owners in Los Angeles. The range-extended electric car will be revealed in its entirety at the Detroit Auto Show in January, but now the world can see what the car will look like from the front.
