Nissan Will Replace Timing Chains On Some 2011-2013 Juke Hatchbacks

June 10, 2014

Nissan has issued its own service bulletin for the 2011-2013 Juke hatchback. Some Jukes from those model years were fitted with faulty timing chains.

As a result, the vehicle's engine could shut down.

Nissan has decided to replace the timing chains and chain guides on these vehicles at no charge due to a design flaw that results in the chain prematurely breaking, causing engine shutdown.

Nissan has assigned campaign # P4213 to this action. The best way to determine if a vehicle is involved, is to call a local Nissan service department and give them the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the vehicle to determine if it is involved in this campaign from Nissan.
