The changes to the 2014 Camaro range are mostly cosmetic, although Chevy’s MyLink interface with a seven-inch touch-screen display has been added in addition to a head-up display system. One new model, though only available as a coupe, is the Z/28. This is a hardcore track special equipped with a 7.0-liter LS7 V-8, and it will be the most expensive model in the Camaro lineup.

Being a mid-cycle update, the changes to the cars are minimal though there are some new tech features and tweaks to the styling. 2014 Nissan Rogue: We’ll get our first look at the redesigned Rogue in Frankfurt, although at the German show the car will be badged an X-Trail, which is its name in overseas markets. 2015 Volkswagen Golf R: The 2015 Golf range, the seventh generation of the German hatch, is yet to reach these shores but at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show we’ll see the high-performance Golf R variant launched. This model will eventually reach the U.S., bringing with it a 296-horsepower turbo four, Haldex all-wheel-drive system and the choice of six-speed manual or dual-clutch transmissions. 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class

2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class: Mercedes-Benz officially has a compact crossover in the hopper; it's bound for Europe, the U.S., and elsewhere, and it's called the GLA-Class. It shares a platform with other Mercedes compacts, like the CLA-Class already on sale on these shores. So far only one powertrain option has been announced: a 2.0-liter turbo four making 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It will be joined eventually by a high-performance AMG variant still in the works.

Ferrari 458 Speciale

Ferrari 458 Speciale

Ferrari 458 Speciale: Don’t find the Ferrari 458 Italia quite fast enough? Don’t sweat it because Ferrari feels your pain. The automaker is hoping to quench your thirst for performance with a new hardcore 458 variant, the Speciale. Its engine is the familiar 4.5-liter V-8 found in the 458 Italia but output has been raised to 597 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. That equates to roughly 133 horsepower per liter and means the 458 Speciale’s engine is the most powerful naturally aspirated V-8 ever launched in a Ferrari road car.

The engine is used to drive the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission while the electric motor powers the front pair via an integrated two-stage auto ‘box. However, both power sources can work together to form a through-the-road all-wheel-drive setup.
