Own a recent Saab? Worried about your warranty now that the automaker has gone belly-up? Well, put those concerns to rest, because Saab Automobile Parts North America (SPNA) has just announced the Saab Secure program.
Saab Secure is geared toward owners of Saab vehicles from 2010 and 2011. (The rest of you: skip down a couple of paragraphs.) According to a SPNA press release:
All 2010 and 2011 model year Saab vehicle owners are eligible to come in for a no charge initial oil change and service, which includes BG Products, Inc. engine oil additives. This service initiates the Limited Lifetime Protection Plan backed by BG. As long as the owner continues to service their vehicle within the required intervals and at a Saab Official Service Center, the protection plan will continue for the life of the vehicle.
Saab Secure also provides extended warranties for 2010 and 2011 model-year vehicles with up to 70,000 miles. The program offers a range of options for consumers, including up to five years of coverage. For details, visit Saab.com and click on your country of residence.
Own a Saab from before 2010? No worries there, either. SPNA is authorized to provide warranty services on vehicles from model-year 2009 and earlier that remain covered by a GM limited warranty. Those services are supplied at SPNA's network of 179 service centers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Not under warranty at all? No problem. Those same SPNA service centers can provide parts and service on all Saab vehicles. Click here to find one near you.
And whether your Saab is in need of TLC or running like a dream, you should probably like Saab's Facebook page, which is now managed by Saab Automobile Parts. There, you'll be able to access important updates and to interact with the global network of Saab enthusiasts.
