The Price Is Right, G: Snoop Dogg Helps Give Away '62 Lincoln On TV

January 3, 2012

Wait, what was that?

Was that Snoop Dogg--former rap bad boy and softcore star, on...The Price is Right?

Snoop took to the airwaves yesterday, on Drew Carey's version of TPIR, one of daytime's longest-running game shows. Now that Bob Barker's free to spay and neuter anything he wants in retirement, Carey's taken the show in some new directions, including this one.

According to the Huffington Post, Snoop not only showed up to play the game, winning almost $73,000 for his Snoop Youth Football League charity, he hung out to hand out prizes like this 1962 Lincoln Continental.

The young, attractive female contestant, Alexis, had to estimate prices for products in a game called Check Out. Snoop obviously knows a lot about the price of cool sportswear and diamonds and Cristal, but unbeknownst to us, he's well aware of the prices of ordinary goods like Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing, paper towels, pizza crust, bird seed, and Town House crackers. Word.

We're sure he knows a lot about the 430-cid Lincoln too, from its power top to its automatic gearbox. The Conti's a popular ride for rap stars, even if their current levels of street cred could fit in a small Altoids tin.

According to the show, the car was worth about $29,000--without the hug Snoop threw in for free, of course.

Want to know if she won? That's what YouTube is for. Roll tape.
