"Saab is dead." "Saab is alive." Those are two sentences we've read way too many times in the last few years.

For now, Saab has secured enough cash to pay employees. It raised $40 million by selling off property, the day before it received an order for 582 vehicles from a mystery Chinese party.

The latest chapter in the saga, announced just yesterday, has Saab confirming three new models, thanks to a deal with Pang Da and Youngman, both Chinese companies. While the deal with Pang Da has supposedly been finalized, no one's heard an okay from the Chinese government.

From past experience that means without approval, the deal is nothing but talk. Remember the ill-fated deal between GM, HUMMER and Sichuan Tengzhong?

With all the new names flying around, we've had to include the grammar panda to help us take today's Twitter poll. Will Pang Da eat, shoot, and leave Saab? Tweet us your response and make sure to include the hashtag #SaabStory-- and you'll join the chorus right here via CoverItLive.
