Audi TT RS Q&A at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show
Auto shows are great for many things, seeing new cars in the metal, talking about the industry with other member of the press, and of course, learning about the product from different PR and product managers. At the Chicago Auto Show, Audi product manager Mark Fruechtnicht took the time to answer some of Audi's Facebook fans, and Twitter followers questions regarding the 2011 TT RS.
The questions were submitted by the fans and followers via social media, and Audi recorded Fruechtnicht responding to the questions on the show floor in front of a TT RS.
Some of the questions revealed details we had not heard about yet. We learned that the TT RS will not have the Recaro bucket seats on the U.S. model, instead it will feature the same sport seats at the TT S. Freuchtnicht also confirmed that the TT-RS will not have a DSG transmission option, rather it will only be available in the U.S. with a six-speed manual transmission.
