2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD

Volvo has long been known for the safety of its vehicles, and the all-new 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD sedan is a prime example of how the automaker packages safety and security in a luxury car. Start with the 300 horsepower T6 turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine paired with six-speed automatic transmission. Other standard technology and safety features that aid in winter-weather driving (and all other road conditions) include dynamic stability and traction control with advanced stability control, corner traction control by torque vectoring and sport mode, anti-lock brake system with hydraulic brake assist.

Optional safety features include adaptive cruise control, collision warning with full auto brake, distance alert, driver alert control and lane departure warning, dual Xenon gas discharge headlights with active bending lights, and pedestrian detection with full auto brake. Other optional equipment ideal for winter-weather driving includes blind spot information system, heated seats, heated outside mirrors, rearview camera, front and rear parking assist, park assist camera front blind view, park assist camera rear, and headlight washers.
