The 2011 Lexus LS 460 AWD (and long-wheelbase LS 460 L AWD) are the automaker’s flagship sedans. With full-time AWD, these sedans also cover the winter-driving front admirably with a slew of other standard or optional safety and technology features. These include antilock brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, anti-skid system, ten airbags, optional lane departure warning system, and, as part of the comfort package, heated/cooled front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel and more.

A rearview camera and wireless cell-phone link is standard. Available Lexus Pre-Collision Safety System, packaged with adaptive cruise control, automatically tightens seatbelts and readies full braking power when it detects an imminent collision. Advanced parking guidance is also available as an option. Power comes from the 357-horsepower 4.6-liter V-8 mated with eight-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission.
