Early this month we descended upon SEMA and brought you live coverage from the floor both on Twitter and Facebook. Just last week we brought you live pictures and juicy new information from the Hyundai Technical Center in Detroit. This week we will invade the Los Angeles Auto Show with the full force of three editors and our social media manager bringing you all the news you can handle.
Some of the crew is already en route to Los Angeles while the rest will descend upon the city tomorrow. Festivities will begin tomorrow night and we will bring you live coverage the entire time.
A quick refresher on the show this year, there will be over 20 press conferences and more than 40 vehicle debuts. We will cover the new 2011 Dodge Charger and the rest of the new Chrysler family in depth along with a closer look at the impressive new Hyundai Elantra which will be rated at 40 mpg on the highway.
Since this is an auto show in California, a large portion of the show will be devoted towards going green. Toyota is set to show off its RAV4 electric love child that it had with Tesla while Honda is set to unveil an all new electric car. GM is set to bring back a mild hybrid only this time it will live in the Buick LaCrosse.
We will also be on hand to question some of the automotive executives about their companies involvement in social media. Hyundai has been tweeting its own spy shots while Ford is gearing up for an online Focus rally. Let's not forget Mazda and the contest to win a Mazda2 on Foursquare. There is no shortage of social media hitting the industry and we will attempt to nab some attention even if for a few seconds of some of the people in charge of these campaigns.
