2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8
Chrysler announced today that it is recalling 40,000 vehicles due to an ignition problem.
Affected vehicles include the 2010 Chrysler 300, 2010 Dodge Challenger, 2010 Dodge Charger, 2010 Dodge Ram, 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2010 Jeep Commander. A wireless ignition node that is used to start the car may be defective. The defect could cause the the node to come loose before the transmission is placed in park, causing the car to move unexpectedly.
Work on the recall is expected to begin in July, and Chrysler will perform the repairs for free.
