Each year in Moab, Utah a gathering of off-road vehicles come to tackle the region's rough terrain as part of the Easter Jeep Safari event that takes part there. The event is now in its 44th year and once again Jeep will be showing off several new stylized concepts, this year grouped under the "Moparized" heading.
These are preview sketches of the four Moparized concepts: the Jeep Wrangler J7, Jeep Patriot Extreme, Jeep Wrangler Trail Boss and Ram Power Wagon.
The most exciting is arguably the Ram Power Wagon, which appears to be a sporty two-door version of the popular Ram pickup designed along the lines of the Ford SVT Raptor. The Jeep Patriot Extreme, on the other hand, appears to be much more plausible for production and includes a suspension lift kit, custom 16 inch alloy wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich KM2 tires and a Kicker stereo system.
The two Wrangler-based concepts are essentially toughened up versions of the hardy off-roader, one with two doors and the other based on the four-door Wrangler Rubicon.
This year’s Easter Jeep Safari will kick off on March 27 so stay tuned for an update within the coming weeks.
