2010 Toyota Tundra
Toyota is recalling 2.3 million vehicles due to accelerator pedals that are sticking. Included in the recall are 2007-2010 Toyota Tundra pickup trucks.
Essentially, the condition can cause the accelerator pedal to either become hard to depress, slow to return to idle, or stuck in a depressed position.
If a driver experiences this problem, a steady and firm application of the brakes can slow the vehicle. At that point the driver should get to a safe spot, shut the engine down, and contact a Toyota dealer.
Tundra owners who would like to contact Toyota directly can call 800-331-4331. The Tacoma compact pickup is not part of the recall.
