Chrysler may be struggling to get its bearings at the moment, but rest assured, there are interesting developments afoot. Most recently, news has filtered out that Chrysler will add Fiat's C-segment platform to the Jeep lineup, effectively laying the groundwork for a new range of products from the brand. The platform is currently used on the Alfa Romeo Milano, and it's flexible enough to accommodate vehicles of two different lengths as well as four-wheel-drive systems. According to Autocar, Jeep will use the platform to develop lower-end vehicles that are both fuel-efficient and capable of off-road activity.
