Garmin ecoRoute hd
It's high convention season here in the U.S., and while most of our attention is focused on Detroit, we've also got one eye on Las Vegas and the Consumer Electronics Show. There are a number of gearhead-oriented gadgets on the CES launch calendar, including two from Garmin: Voice Studio, a program that allows you to record your own navigation commands (e.g. "Turn right, stupid!"); and ecoRoute hd, a Bluetooth-enabled device that plugs into your car's onboard diagnostics port and posts fuel economy and other data to most Garmin devices (except the Nuvi 3xx and 6xx series). No word on VoiceStudio pricing, but the ecoRoute hd should ring in at $149. Time to plan ahead for the 2010 holidays... [Engadget via Autoblog]
