The big product news today is Suzuki's impressive Kizashi sedan, offering sports sedan handling and (mostly) premium feel for budget pricing. Check out our first drive impressions at TheCarConnection and Motor Authority for all the details on the car's features, feel and performance.

On the industry side of things, deals are nearing completion at soon-to-be-ex-GM brands HUMMER and Opel, while Mercedes-Benz has decided to start offering Sharia-compliant loans in the Middle East to help more buyers find a way into the high-status marque's offerings. Last, but certainly not least, the Senate today voted to approve recognizing the Aptera 2e and other three-wheeled vehicles as cars.
