Here at TCC, we're of two minds about the toy vehicles put out by Automoblox. Aesthetically speaking, they're fairly awesome: spare, abstract, and evocative. On the other hand, they feel a little like toys for aging hipsters who've begun to wax nostalgic about the days of sandboxes, tonsillectomies, and Hot Wheels. (Also, we're still not convinced that kids really want to play with them.) However, our feelings about Automoblox may improve with the company's new lineup, which includes some very sweet-looking hotrod models. It's set to hit stores in time for the holidays, which seems awfully convenient. [Autoblog]
