GM's Bob Lutz recently 86ed the ad agency for Buick, and now Cadillac is losing its marketing firm, too. The brand's contract with Modernista! is up, and according to Cadillac GM Bryan Nesbitt, the agency won't be competing for another round. Plenty of rumors have circulated about the breakup: the ones we tend to believe center on creative differences and the fact that Modernista! is a boutique agency, unlike the old-school, one-size-fits-all shops that GM uses for its other brands. We're sad to see Modernista! go, since its creative was a welcome shot in the arm for often-sleepy Cadillac. Check the clip above to see what we mean. [Autoblog]
