It's been a busy week in the auto industry -- especially for European automakers. The big theme of Frankfurt has clearly been green technology, and most manufacturers in attendance claim to have some sort of electric vehicle in the works. The majority of those EV announcements have been vague, but here's one that isn't: Volvo is rolling out a battery electric vehicle in October. Yes, this October. Upside: it's based on the popular C70. Downside: it's got a range of 37 miles, a top speed around 9 mph, and no roof. Also, it's a golf cart. Ba-dum-bum! We're here all week, try the veal. [Autopia]
