Special 2010 8C GTA Celebrates Alfa Romeo's 100th Year

August 12, 2009

From the moment that rumors began circulating about a possible Fiat/Chrysler merger, car fans have been giddy about the possibility of Alfa Romeo returning to America. One reason the marque instills such passion: the company's plan to release a 100-unit, limited-edition run of the spectacular 8C GTA. Thanks to lighter weight and some engine tweaks, the special-edition should hit 60 mph in under four seconds -- which is just one reason we'll have a hard time spotting it if the grand tourer comes stateside. The other reason? Its £200,000 (nearly $330,000) price tag. [WorldCarFans]
