UK crackdown: Britain is planning to enact tougher auto insurance laws, with penalties for simply owning an uninsured car. That's good news for insurance premiums, bad news for tinkerers with lawns covered in "projects". [Autocar]

Best headline of the week: We can't believe we missed this headline when we ran our Toyota story yesterday: Scion to run Toyota. Scion? Get it? ...Yeah, well, almost no one else used it either, so we don't feel so bad.
