Mini Bulldog Warms Hearts With No Carbon Footprint

January 20, 2009

Causing a grin on the face, some warmth in the heart, but nary a trace of CO2 in the air, the plush MINI Bulldog makes its way to select MINI dealers as well as just in time for a February 14 gift for the owner (or aspiring owner) of a MINI Cooper, Clubman, or even one of the 500 leased MINI E Electrics. The panting pooch sports a red MINI jacket, and the saccharine press release suggests that the dog simply says "'I love you' without the commitment of training and more than occasional barking." How about a big 'awwwwwwwwww.'

Charming, frisky bling seems to gel with drivers of small cars brimming with big personality; Remember the Volkswagen New Beetle's flower vase? At least for the few years after that vehicle's release, it seemed that nine of ten New Beetles sported bright blossoms in the the little vase mounted next to the steering column. Should the Fiat 500 come to America, perhaps they will release an Illy Espresso Edition replete with dash-mounted demitasse holders.

MINI vehicles already ooze with charm, from the moon pie, center-mounted speedometer to the forward-folding hood and pert circular headlights. The MINI Bulldog marks a drastically lower price of entry into the MINI Fold, retailing for approximately $26 at the outlets listed above. Visit their Web site for a complete list of MINI motoring gear.
