The Future of Blogging: Wearable Headlines

September 3, 2008
We had fun bringing you the story of the suburban Stonehenge built by a Utah farmer a few weeks back. By planting a trio of cars at his property line--an act of defiance we're completely down with--he was able to irk his architecturally controlled neighbors and find a good use for 1970s gas guzzlers, too.

As it turns out, we ran the story, and so did CNN--and our coverage caught the attention of their vast network of minions, who sent us this T-shirt with their headline splashed across the front. They're doing it as a side business to the news network--who knew T-shirts were big revenue drivers?--and they have a wide selection over at their site, which you might have heard of. The headlines that are made available on T-shirts are usually funny, human interest and political news stories, they tell us.

Cruise over to their site and maybe you can find the headline of your dreams--or maybe you can write one for us here. Make it car-related, make it tight (say, 100 characters or less), and make it funny, and the best one will get a special treat from our prize bin (like a Jaguar press kit? Or a Lamborghini scale model? How about a bag of Doritos?).

Happy writing!
