Just when you’d thought you’d heard it all, Aaron and Christine Boring (insert bad last name pun here) are suing Google for including their house in the Google Street View service.
Techcrunch reports that the Pittsburgh couple claim that Google “intentionally and/or grossly recklessly invaded” their home as it is located on a street that is “clearly marked with a ‘Private Road’ sign.”
According to The Smoking Gun, the Borings claim that the inclusion of their home in the Google Street View caused them “mental suffering” and lowered the value of their home (which they bought for $165,000).
The Borings are seeking $25,000 in damages and are seeking a court order for Google to destroy all images of their home.
