Volkswagen’s latest version of the Jetta is a new Wolfsburg Edition with a turbo four-cylinder engine, and a pricetag of $20,875.

The new Wolfie--last year’s edition had a 2.5-liter in-line five-cylinder engine--sports the fantastic 200-horsepower, 2.0-liter direct-injection four, along with a six-speed manual transmission. VW’s dual-clutch DSG automatic is available, raising the pricetag to $21,950.

Along with the different drivetrain, the ’08 Wolfsburg Edition gets unique badging on the quarter panels; 17-inch alloy wheels; vinyl seats; and a choice of silver, black, red or gray paint. Standard gear on all Jettas includes curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control and electric power steering.

VW plans to build about 12,500 of the new Jettas.
