BlackJack: It Has Mustangs For Lunch

Not far back in our past looms the kind of Camaro versus Mustang crap you think we'd have left behind in high school, or at least in the dead-tree magazines that thrive on them. And so it was until this year, when the electric-orange Camaro Convertible showed up in Detroit - and now, the Roush Stage 3 BlackJack Mustang popped up on our radar (well, really, our inbox - we don't have radar yet at TCC South).

While the Camaro is one of those attainable but not-here-yet beauties we'll bank on for future thrills, naked and clothed, the Roush BlackJack is something we probably won't even get to touch. That's because Jack is building only 100 examples and every one's been spoken for.

What you and I both are missing out on includes a 430-horsepower supercharged (er, ROUSHcharged!) V-8, black on black trim, aluminum accents everywhere, and big 14-inch brakes. Not only could you put off any Mustang we've driven, you might even be able to blow off some of the more expensive iron to come from across the ocean. (You mean T-Mobile's new Dash? Yes, that's exactly what we meant! Wait, this isn't CNet.)

We have no idea on price, but why not tease us more? Say it only costs $20,000 and we just weren't keeping an eye on our RSS feeds when we should have. At least we can deal with that, Roush. Jerk.
