Has terrorism come home to UNC? A University of North Carolina graduate student is facing charges that he ran down nine other students with his SUV during a political rally sponsored by the College Republicans. Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, the grad student under arrest, was cuffed for running his SUV through a campus gathering spot called the Pit, the AP reports, injuring nine people but none seriously. Taheri-azar is said to have told the arresting officer that he used his SUV to ''avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world.'' Charged with nine counts of attempted murder and assault, the Iranian-born student has bail set at $5.5 million.
