Chrysler's twin concepts for the Detroit auto show have blown by their press embargoes, so we're sharing some basic shots with you this morning. The Challenger concept is Dodge's returned musclecar; it rides on an LX-derived chassis (300C/Magnum) and ends up being a big boy, much larger than today's Mustang and the coming Camaro concept.
Meanwhile, the Imperial concept - which TCC first broke news of last month - emerges as a four-door sedan also based on the 300C/Magnum platform. Details are few - somehow, TCC was omitted from the list of publications allowed to run the story a week early - but we expect HEMI power for both concepts, which will make their official debuts next week at the Detroit auto show. Stay tuned for more photos and info on both. For more photos of the Challenger, head over to our Detroit show preview.
