Only V-8 Chevys Allowed

In Europe, General Motors does not want to mention the Corvette in the same breath as Chevrolet, now that GM Daewoo cars are sold as Chevrolets. For us at TCC, a Corvette will always be a Chevy - and it appears the Dutch feel the same way, too. The Netherlands-based car club "The Cruisebrothers" has announced that it will ban any Chevrolet with an engine with less than six cylinders from its bi-monthly get-together in The Hague. "Members with such cars are not welcome," the club says.-Henny Hemmes
