2007 Honda Accord Coupe Concept

December 5, 2006

Honda says it will show an Accord Coupe Concept at the 2007Detroit auto show. The concept is expected to influence the future shape of its new Accord lineup, which is due in the 2008 model year.

Honda says the Accord is its best-selling model in North America. New in 2003, the Accord is expected to return as a 2008 model in sedan, coupe, and Hybrid forms.

The Accord’s competition — the Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, and Ford Fusion — all are new or have been revamped in the past 18 months.

Changes to the 2007 model-year Accords were minimal. The range now offers standard 17-inch wheels, and a choice of either a 166-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder or a 3.0-liter, 244-horsepower V-6.
