2017 Rolls-Royce Wraith vs. Its Competition

2016 Rolls-Royce Wraith
Kirk Bell Kirk Bell Senior Editor

The Wraith and Dawn have few real rivals, but those that exist are brutally powerful and similarly trimmed.

The Bentley Continental GT coupe and convertible are the closest competitors, especially in Speed trim, which boasts more than 600 horsepower and a richly tailored cabin.

Despite their substantial heft, however, the Contis have a sportier character.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupe and cabriolet inch up toward Wraith and Dawn pricing with their Maybach variants.

They're incredibly luxurious, but it can't capture the old-world feel of the Rolls or Bentley, even if both British marques are now controlled and produced by German companies.
