2014 Nissan Titan vs. Its Competition

The 2014 Nissan Titan is built with only a V-8 powertrain, and it offers relatively few options in a segment that seems to be most popular for its levels of customization and job-specific tailoring.

The Ford F-150 offers a significant amount of feature technology with its four engine options.

The GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado are both completely redesigned for this year with improved looks, technology and fuel efficiency.

The Ram 1500 was redesigned last year, giving it an even nicer interior (it was already leading the segment), as well as a fuel few-saving features like start-stop and an eight-speed automatic transmission; a diesel arrives this year.

The Toyota Tundra is probably the most direct competitor for the Titan, and it's a decent performer, despite its overwrought design.
