2022 Nissan Rogue vs. Its Competition

2022 Nissan Rogue
Robert Duffer Robert Duffer Senior Editor

The 2022 Nissan Rogue aims to undercut pricier hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.

Still, hybrid versions of the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, and Ford Escape meet or exceed 38 mpg city, with the Tucson trailing the group.

Plug-in versions of the RAV4 Prime and Escape PHEV offer 42 miles and 37 miles of all-electric range, respectively.

The redesigned Tucson wil have a plug-in hybrid option with a range of 33 miles, while the Subaru Forester carries on with standard all-wheel drive and a slight edge on off-road capability.
