2015 Nissan Altima vs. Its Competition

2015 Nissan Altima
Martin Padgett Martin Padgett Editorial Director

Some might've thought that Nissan was losing its foothold on the market before the Altima's redesign in 2013, but the new car is one of the most comfortable in the segment.

The Kia Optima and Hyundai Sonata both offer lots of value for the buck, especially in their base forms.

The Sonata has been redesigned for 2015, as has the Toyota Camry, which looks sportier than ever.

There's also the Chevy Malibu, which sits mid-pack in the segment, and there's the Ford Fusion, which offers handsome styling and a plug-in hybrid model that wins the fuel economy race in the segment.
