Loaded with tech and blinged out with chrome, the Lincoln Navigator is a more aggressive choice than the Lexus or Infiniti SUVs.
The Mercedes-Benz GL-Class meets it on much more even ground, and seriously steps up the quality and materials--for a price.
Cadillac's Escalade is the most direct competition for the Navigator, and it's more powerful and a bit nicer inside, too, though the Navigator remains more spacious, less expensive, and easier to drive on the road.
Land Rover's Range Rover is another one to consider, especially if you need serious off-road ability, though it's quite a bit smaller than the Navigator and more expensive, too.
