2018 Lincoln MKZ vs. Its Competition

2018 Lincoln MKZ

The Lincoln MKZ feels like it was cast in the Lexus ES sedan’s mold.

And it’s not hard to see why, since the ES turns quickly on Lexus dealer lots.

The Lincoln’s more expressive style and its impressive value are assets, but the Lexus feels more cohesive as a luxury sedan.

The Acura TLX’s base price undercuts both and is worth a look for its slightly sportier take.

Shop the Volvo S60 for its classy feel and strong value, but its tighter interior and firmer suspension may not please luxury traditionalists.

So too with the Audi A4, which overloads with tech—whether you want it or not.

Chrysler’s 300 is the most traditional Detroit luxury sedan, but its sharp handling belies its size.

The 2018 Volvo S60 is a pleasant car, but rivals and even the rest of Volvo’s lineup have left it in the dust.
