2015 Lexus RX vs. Its Competition

2015 Lexus RX 350

The Lexus RX has been a huge success for the brand.

Its current competition includes the Lincoln MKX, which offers good interior room, a strong V-6 engine and MyLincoln Touch, a high-tech (albeit occasionally buggy) infotainment system.

The Cadillac SRX looks great inside and out, and its 3.6-liter V-6 makes it a very similar package to the RX.

The Volvo XC60 really makes good inside, with its Scandinavian design, elegant layout, and a somewhat more compact slightly more compact package that doesn't actually feel much smaller.

The Nissan Murano is being completely redesigned for 2015 and should prove a formidable competitor -- although, again, one without a true luxury pedigree.

Quick Specs
The 2015 Lexus RX 350 and RX 400h deliver sensible luxury and excellent comfort -- boldness not necessarily included (or desired).
The 2015 Cadillac SRX offers class-leading technology and excellent interior appointments in a uniquely American luxury crossover.
The 2015 Lincoln MKX has aged well, continuing to offer one of the nicer interiors in the class with very few gimmicks.
The 2015 Nissan Murano lures in empty-nesters with its flamboyant new design, then hooks them with just the right mix of confident performance.
The 2015 Volvo XC60 crossover stays stylish--and now it gets much better gas mileage from a new four-cylinder engine.
