2017 Lamborghini Huracan vs. Its Competition

No rival captures the sheer unchanged passion of design you'll see in Sant'Agata's Huracán, but there's much to look at here in the Audi, Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche stables.

Audi's R8 shares a fair amount with Huracán, although the latest generation has departed a bit from the concept.

Then again, it's now V-10-only, and you'll notice its specs are pretty similar to those in the Huracán.

The Porsche 911 is similarly revamped for 2017, with new turbo engines on all models.

The Ferrari 488GTB replaces the spectacular 458 Italia, and though it doesn't necessarily move the ball all that far forward, frankly, it didn't need to.

McLaren's 650S overcomes the soulless feel of the MP4-12C—it's an exceptional car on the track, and perhaps even better on the road, too.

Happy shopping.

It may be Lamborghini's entry-level model, but the Huracán is our choice over the Aventador.

The 2017 Audi R8 balances thrilling power and handling with everyday livability.

The 2017 Porsche 911 is a toe into the waters of modernity with a base turbo engine that gets good fuel economy. Don't be fooled; it's every bit the super car it always has been.
The 2017 Ferrari 488 GTB and 488 Spider are sensual beauties, with shattering performance amped up by a new turbocharged V-8.
