2022 Jeep Cherokee vs. Its Competition

Jeep’s been blazing trails in the SUV space for decades, and the Trailhawk badge on the Cherokee and other models inspired other automakers to follow suit.

The Subaru Forester now has a Wilderness trim with a lifted suspension, black wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, tow hooks, tie downs, and more.

Toyota has been in the off-road space for a while, and the RAV4 TRD Pro adds a beefier suspension and shocks.

The Kia Sportage X-Pro has all-terrain tires, more rugged bumpers, and the now ubiquitous roof rails, and Hyundai has a similar appearance package with the Santa Fe XRT.

Ford has a Timberline trim, but it made a whole off-road model with the Bronco Sport as an alternative to the Ford Escape.
