2015 Jaguar XK vs. Its Competition

The all-new Jaguar F-Type is much more of a sports car than the XK, although the XK's combination of comfort, style, and speed tough to beat.

The Maserati GranTurismo is essentially the Italian version of the XK, with Ferrari V-8 power and engine notes, as well as custom-tailored interior and a svelte, European exterior.

The Mercedes-Benz SL Class is far more focused on the grand touring side of things, with no real emphasis on edgy performance at all; on the luxury scale, however, the SL approaches a 10.

BMW's 6-Series offers a different experience in a similar vein, with higher curb weights and lower power outputs (excepting the potent M6), as well as a look and feel all its own--though perhaps somewhat less head-turning than the XK.

The Porsche 911, like the Corvette, is a sports car first, and everything else second, but it does manage to pack in an impressive amount of space.

Whether chosen as a coupe, convertible, or four-door Gran Coupe, the 2015 BMW 6-Series offers dynamic driving and massive style.
The 2015 Jaguar F-Type piles on even more sportscar credibility with a ravishing Coupe R edition.
The 2015 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is sportier than its predecessor, but still manages to coddle its occupants just as before.
