2015 INFINITI QX60 vs. Its Competition

2015 Infiniti QX60 (2014 Hybrid pictured)

The 2015 Infiniti QX60 most directly takes on the Acura MDX, a model that's less stylish, and has worse fuel economy and tighter third-row access.

The MDX is, however, a more driver-focused vehicle, especially when equipped with its superb SH-AWD system.

The Audi Q7 is larger, heavier, and can be considerably more expensive; though it does offer an optional TDI diesel engine that delivers remarkable fuel efficiency--perhaps better than the QX60 on the highway.

The Buick Enclave is handsome enough, with a spacious interior and plenty of features, though it's possible Infiniti buyers might not even consider a Buick for its stodgy image.

That same issue may apply to the Lincoln MKT, the largest Lincoln crossover, and one that's particularly roomy and comfortable, but one which hasn't gotten much traction in the market.

Finally, the top end of the Toyota Highlander range--the seven-passenger, all-wheel-drive Highlander Hybrid--delivers much better fuel economy but lacks a luxury badge.

The 2015 Acura MDX continues to offer an attractive blend of content, comfort, and entertainment for the entire family–including the driver.
Though the 2015 Audi Q7 might show a little of its age, there are so few faults here that it's hard not to love this big SUV.
The 2015 Buick Enclave is one of the safest crossovers money can buy, and it impresses with its plus-sized chic styling and appointments.
The 2015 Toyota Highlander offers a versatile and stylish alternative to the minivan, with available all-wheel drive and a thoughtfully designed interior.
The provocative Lincoln MKT has undeniable charm--a fantastic cabin, great infotainment features, and paddle-shifted EcoBoost power--but you have to buy into the look.
