The Infiniti EX37 is a distinctive choice in the luxury crossover class, and far edgier and more enthusiast-oriented than most in this class.
It's perhaps most like the BMW X3, which is also one of the more engaging options to drive, although the X3 is roomier from the back seat.
The Audi Q5 is quite luxurious and handsome, but can ride harshly and gets quite expensive.
On the other hand, if you want something more family-friendly, Volvo's XC60 has lots of safety technology and a sleek interior, with great cargo space, but it's not nearly as engaging to drive as the EX35.
We're also fans of the Lincoln MKX, which has a roomy interior, advanced infotainment, and impressive safety.

The 2013 Infiniti EX37 drives like a sport sedan, but it isn't all that much more practical than one; add in the warm cabin appointments and standout tech features and there's a lot of charm, however. |

The 2013 Audi Q5 is one of the more carlike crossovers, with elegant execution, smart high-tech features, and very good passenger space. |
The BMW X3 is a great-looking crossover, with a spacious, versatile, and classy interior; and with the introduction of a new base turbo four for 2013 in the xDrive28i, it gets better mileage with no compromise in performance. |
The 2013 Lincoln MKX finally has luxury game with a knockout interior and Mustang-worthy power; MyLincoln Touch is better, too. |
The 2013 Volvo XC60 carries on the tradition of Volvo wagons--even their top-of-the-class safety--only in a modern, fashion-conscious crossover. |
