2022 Honda Ridgeline vs. Its Competition

2022 Honda Ridgeline

The 2022 Ridgeline stays the same but the segment is changing.

The Ford Ranger has more towing and off-road capability, but lacks refinement, and the same could be said for the aging Toyota Tacoma.

Both automakers could look to the 2022 Nissan Frontier that was redesigned for the first time since 2005 and retained pickup truck style and capability but with all the modern conveniences.

Two smaller trucks based on crossovers provide a compelling option with the Ford Maverick hybrid and Hyundai Santa Cruz lifestyle vehicle that competes more with the Subaru Outbacks of the world than traditional pickups.

The Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon still look good but show their age with limited safety tech.
